I have always loved the hair world—its energy has always pushed me to get better. The feeling I get from making people feel great just makes me want to better myself and my craft. I was lucky enough to start my career very young and have built such a strong love and passion for my job and helping people feel the best they can.

I have been working in the beauty industry for 20 years now. For 10 of those 20 years, I have had the privilege of educating many of the top hairdressers in the Dayton area. Being able to do that has allowed me to perfect my techniques but also learn a lot of great ones as well. I have also partnered with DevaCurl to become one of their coaches, teaching other fabulous hairdressers about this amazing product.

I won a national award in 2013 at the American Beauty Show Stars competition, taking home 1st place in the Hair Fashion Visionary-Avant Garde category. As a result, my work has been published in Modern Salon Magazine, the Centerville-Washington Times, and Pinterest. I have also been lucky enough to have a page in Inspire magazine and have been featured on hairnerds.com, beautylaunchpad.com, and esteticamagazine.com.

I specialize in naturally curly styling and cutting techniques, and because my own hair is curly, I feel like it gives me more knowledge and understanding about curl.
